NCSC organizes a play with special children
NUST Community Service Club (NCSC) organized a play which was enacted by special children on 13th January 2016 at the National Center for Special children, H-8, Islamabad from 1100-1300 hours.
It all started off with national anthem by little angels of grade 2 or 3 who sang and expressed it by their special sign language. Following the anthem, the stage was glamorized with a dance performance by children of grade 4 on a famous national song “dil dil Pakistan”. Finally, an interesting play titled “price of everything” was acted upon by children of various age groups. The story narration was about a greedy and clever merchant who deliberately occupies all the possessions of an honest shoemaker. However, the day was saved by shoemaker’s wise son who retains his father’s merchandise back to him using the same trick played by the merchant. The play ended with a loud applause and clapping heard from the audience side.  Before the event came to an end, Dr. M. Safdar, faculty sponsor of NCSC appreciated the efforts of the team and the participants to make the occasion enjoyable. The Principal of the school and Dr. Safdar both emphasized on the need to further this collaboration. Thereafter certificates were handed over to participating students. Refreshments were served to everyone. The chapter of this event thus ended up with the team heading back from the school with flying colors and waving hands from the children bidding a goodbye to the team.
