NCSC distributes bags at EDH trust school F-12 Islamabad
NUST Community Service Club (NCSC) distributed school bags and school supplies in EDH (Educational, development and health) Trust school at Meharbadi, F-12 sector, Islamabad.  As the NCSC students ventured through the broken roads, there was a slum area opposite street 18, F-12. Submerged in poverty, the team saw many shanties and huts. Finally, the team reached the school building which was cemented but looked quite dated. It had two classrooms which were sadly in poor shape. They could not accommodate all the students and some of them had their classes outside. Still, the effort of EDH to have a school in such an area has to be appreciated. Both poverty and hope was depicted from the faces of the children there. Most of them did not even have bags. The students interacted with NCSC volunteers and showed their progress by recitation, Naat and singing some poems. The team then distributed 35 bags, filled with books and stationery, among the needy students. The students were quite thankful and their kind gestures further increased NCSC’s motivation to do more for them in the future!
