NCSC and course participants Teach for a Change at SOS Villages Islamabad

Teach for a Change is a project under which students of NUST go to SOS Villages Islamabad five days a week (i.e. Monday to Friday)for an hour to help girls as well as boys with their homework and studies in two shifts, that is, girls before 6 pm to teach girls and boys after 6 pm to teach boys. SOS Villages Islamabad is at 10 minutes walking distance from Gate 10 of NUST. This project started in mid of December 2012 by a group of NUST students and collaborated with NCSC in 2013. Ameer Hamza from NICE was the first head of this project and Fareeha Jamal from SNS along with Muhammad Shumail Farooq from NICE are currently heading this project. The result of children at SOS has improved a lot during the last three years and we are hoping to produce excellent results in future.
