UWR and NUST Signs MOU worth USD 2.27 Million

United We Reach (UWR) and National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) have arrived at a joined understanding by signing an MOU to further the cause of education and economic development. UWR is a non-profit organization working for educational equity through the use of modern day technological resources. NUST is a world-class higher educational institution of Pakistan, which aims to offer a wide and comprehensive range of academic programs to support the sam​e.

The event was presided by Rector NUST, and the participants included higher officials including the Pro Rectors, Registrar, General Manager University Advancement Office, and Ms. Sabahat Rafiq from United We Reach. Ms. Sabahat briefly talked about the positive societal and economic impact this collaboration can create. 



An understanding between the two parties has been materialized where United We Reach will support academic expenses of 92 students from financially challenged backgrounds in order for them to achieve their educational aspirations. Pro-Rector (F&I) on behalf of NUST and Ms. Sabahat on behalf of UWR signed the MOU pledging USD 2 million in endowment and USD 0.27 million in annual fund. With this initiative, 92 students qualifying the criteria, every year, at NUST will have the opportunity to attain world-class higher education on financial assistance.

Both parties have agreed to collaborate and further the already established ecosystem at NUST by investing in technological advancement, entrepreneurship, innovation, and community services. Moreover, it has also been proposed that commercially viable research and student projects will be supported by UWR and brought into the prototype development and entrepreneurial stages.

NUST and UWR seek to move forward in making this relationship cast a sustainable impact on educational, entrepreneurial, and community service infrastructure of Pakistan.​
