We are immensely proud to announce that NUST, for the first time, has won the RISE (Research Innovation & Staff Exchange) grant which is a part of the highly competitive and prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programme.

Only 2 projects from Pakistan have been accepted into the MCSA RISE Consortium 2020, both by NUST researchers. These include "Nano Informatics Approaches for Safe-by-Design Nano Materials" a project by Dr Muhammad Moazam Fraz and Dr Muhammad Shahzad from SEECS.

The second project is "Alternative Quality and Authenticity Methods for Sugar and Confectionery Industry” by Dr Hasnain A Janjua and Dr Muhammad Qasim Hayat from #ASAB.

This is a significant achievement and will provide our researchers opportunities to work with renowned international partners in an exceedingly diverse and competitive environment. RISE also involves of Small & Medium Enterprises #SMEs and educational institutions from across Europe, bringing more prospects for R&D collaboration and innovation.

The NUST Family congratulates the faculty members and their Schools on this success.
