Uzair Akbar, an Electrical Engineering junior at SEECS (BEE-5) has competed in the Microsoft Learn For Success (LFS) competition 2016, which took place from January 2016 to June 31, 2016.
The result of the Microsoft Learn For Success (LFS) competitions 2016 has been announced and Uzair, representing NUST SEECS, has secured 1st position in Pakistan, becoming the National Champion (from among about 1189 candidates) and is being offered a 5 month DX Internship at Microsoft Pakistan.
Microsoft Learn For Success (LFS) is a contest designed by Microsoft in the Middle East and Africa region. The contest is open to young, talented IT students, so they can demonstrate their knowledge by completing the indicated Tech Rewards challenges during the contest period for a chance to win awards in the countries mentioned below:

Eligible students enter the contest through the Learn for Success website and compete by completing challenges hosted on Tech Rewards to gain points. Each completed challenge counts towards the total of contest points.
The National winners are offered DX (Developer Experience and Evangelism) Internships at Microsoft in their home countries.
