An interactive session for students and faculty was organised on Chevening Scholarships for Masters in the UK, at NUST School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (SCEE) Seminar Hall, NUST H-12 campus, on October 4, 2019. A team from Chevening Secretariat at the British High Commission, specially visited NUST; and guided interested students and faculty members about the procedures and opportunities pertaining to Chevening scholarship.
Chevening is the UK Government’s fully-funded global scholarship programme that offers future leaders the unique opportunity to study in the UK. These scholarships are awarded to outstanding professionals from all over the world to pursue a one-year master’s degree in any subject at any university in the UK.
A minimum of two years of work experience (which includes internships, professional fellowships and other paid/unpaid work experience) and Bachelor's degree are required to apply for the scholarships. The scholarships are only for master’s degree programmes.
NUST encourages its students and faculty to pursue such opportunities which can help them to excel in their professional fields.
