The running industries rapidly converting from conventional to automatic operations to achieve more accuracy and minimizing time. Therefore every organization trends to convert conventional machinery to CNC and the operation also required to train on CNC to achieve the target.ction.


To introduce the participants on hand practices at CNC machines including programming.


Machine Programming and Operations.


a. BE/BSc. Engineering Students.

b. Diploma Holders (Mechanical)

c. Matric Science with experience on operating conventional machines Lathe and Milling.

Course Outline:

a. Introduction to CNC machine tools.

b. Introduction to CNC cutting tools.

c. CNC Programming.

    i.  G Codes

    ii.  M Codes

d. Vertical tool / pre setter and its use.

e. Drilling and Taping cycle.

f.  Profile Milling

g. Turning Operation on CNC.



a.  Duration                :       04 Weeks (Three Working Days)

                                         (Monday to Wednesday)

b.  Time                      :        Evening           1400 Hrs  to   1800 Hrs

c.   Mode:

i.                    Lecture               :           10%

ii.                  Demos                 :           10%

iii.                Practical work         :           70%

iv.                End Team Project   :            10%
