Syed Omer Gilani earned his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National University of Singapore, in 2013. Between 2006 and 2008,
he worked on various vision and augmented-reality based projects at Interactive Multimedia Lab, Singapore. His current research interests include human
computer interaction, biological vision, and machine learning.
