Purpose: Researchers from leading Japanese Wheelchair Industries and associated Japanese Universities will join hands with researchers of the Robotics and Intelligent Systems Engineering (RISE) lab (NUST-SMME) to introduce active wheelchairs technology in Pakistan. The researchers will also collaborate on research projects for development of state of the art technologies to further research into Autonomous and Semi-Autonomous Active Wheelchairs.
