Muhammad Irfan

​Mr Muhammad Irfan did his Bacherlors in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistan. After that he joined Millat Equipment Pvt. Ltd (MEL), which is a sister concern of Millat Tractors Pvt. Ltd. (MTL), as an Assistant Manager in quality assurance and Quality control (QA/QC) department. He worked there for about 18 months. After getting national scholarship from Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of Pakistan, he enrolled himself in Hanyang University (South Korea) for his MS studies. After completing his MS degree, he joined Materials Engineering Department in School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME) at NUST, in 2012. Since then he is working as lecturer at SCME, NUST

Mr Muhammad Irfan has been actively involved in research during his MS and BSc studies. He has worked in the field of nanotechnology. His major work revolved around the nonmaterials. He has been fabricating these materials for sensing, energy harvesting and energy storage applications. He has worked on carbon nanotubes, iridium nanoparticles, and ZnO  and palatium nano structures etc. He is also a holder of research fellowship titled as “UNESCO-Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowship Programme Engineering Cycle 2013 A”
