Salman Raza Naqvi was born on 15th April, 1983 in Multan, Pakistan. He finished his high school studies from Govt. High School Toba Tek Singh in 1999 and intermediate in pre-engineering in 2001. In 2006, he received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan. After graduation, he moved to Germany for master studies. He did his Master in Chemical Engineering from Technical University of Dortmund. During his master studies, he worked in BASF as research assistant and completed his master thesis at BASF in industrial crystallization. After MS studies, he worked at NFC-IET and then NUST (SCME) as lecturer in Chemical Engineering Department. In 2012, he started his PhD studies in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. During his PhD, he studies fast pyrolysis process of rice husk using zeolitic material. In 2015, after successful completion of his PhD studies, he joined NUST.
