  • Muhammad Ahsan received his PhD in Energetic Materials Engineering from National university of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Arshad Hussain.

  • He completed his MS in Energetic Materials Engineering from National university of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Habib Nasir.

  • He completed his BS in Mathematics from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. Pakistan.

  • He has over 6 years of teaching experience while working as a visiting faculty member at places such as Department of Physics (IIU, Islamabad, Pakistan), Department of Materials Engineering (NUST, Islamabad, Pakistan) and Department of Chemical Engineering (NUST, Islamabad, Pakistan).

  • He was also a visiting scholar at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Waterloo, Canada. His visit was sponsored by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan to carry out research in the Membrane Research Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Xianshe Feng.

  • His current research work involves projects like process modeling and simulation of membrane gas separation, numerical modeling of combustion dynamics in coal gasification and catalytic combustion of hydrocarbons.​

  • Dr.Ahsan has published more than 20 papers in refereed international journals and conference proceedings.​
