Dr. Wasim Khaliq received his Ph.D. in Civil (Structural) Engineering from Michigan State University (MSU), East Lansing, MI, USA in 2012. His research involves performance characterization of high performance concrete materials and structures under fire conditions. He was involved in setting up of Civil Infrastructure Lab (CIL) at Michigan State University for thermal and mechanical properties of concrete both at ambient and high temperatures with state-of-the-art equipment. He has over 10 publications in renowned international journals. He has also presented his research at various international conferences. He joined National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan as Assistant Professor in School of Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2012 and is involved in teaching and research in civil engineering.​
