International Collaboration:

NUST-SADA lays emphases on the curriculum development and its implementation. METU Turkey a reputable institution  was consulted to sow the initial seeds of a curriculum. A five day intensive deliberation was undertaken and a structure of architectural curriculum emerged in early 2010.

The School has established link with Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey for student transfer besides training of faculty in subjects related to both Architecture and Industrial Design.

The first collaborative effort was accomplished by developing the curriculum of Architecture in 2010 and later in 2011 for Industrial Design. At present we have a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with METU, Turkey and according to its stipulations every year six students can study at METU for a period of one year. In 2015 ties with METU were further strengthen through Erasmus+ program . At present a designated faculty can attend METU studio's for two weeks.

Apart from METU, NUST-SADA also in the past has invited expert from Netherlands for Curriculum evaluation.  Professionals of international repute like Neil Leach have conducted student workshop on Parametric Design. In future SADA hopes to provide opportunities for both its students and faculty towards international exposure, competency and skill learning.
