Economics Research Groups

This is a Group of eminent economists with diversified experiences. It is based in NUST School of Social Sciences and Humanities and offers its services to local, regional and international research partners. The objective of the Group is to promote high-quality policy relevant research on wide ranging issues faced by the Pakistan economy. Research is mainly organized in three main areas:

  • Macroeconomics and Growth
  • Trade and Industry
  • Inequality, Poverty and Labour Market Dynamics
  •  Economic Research Group has disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams. Members of the three groups are:
