China’s Diplomatic Paradigm of Win-win offers new hope to the World
The Eleventh Summit of the Group of Twenty (G20) leaders opened in the beautiful city of Hangzhou, China on September 4. The Summit will be held in the international context of profound transformation. China pursues respect for international law and non-interference in the internal affairs, peaceful coexistence and cooperation. Its win-win foreign policy has won unanimous recognition from the international community. Asia, Africa, Latin America and even Europe have already begun to accept and embrace China's "world view" - establishing peace and win-win economic and political order. With the rise of China, it is for the first time in the contemporary history of the international community to develop "joint framework for cooperation" and strive to achieve win-win results,.
Hangzhou G20 summit will provide China and the world to share a "win-win” concept of Opportunity. Those who wish to pursue China "containment theory" now find themselves increasingly isolated in the international arena. As for the "containment" response, China has foreign claims but is committed to diplomacy to resolve conflicts, reduce tension, promote friendship and enhance cooperation, regardless of its size and strength. China is a consistent advocate of dialogue. China’s policy of seeking dialogue and consultation, co-operation has won more and more supporters in the international community. The 57 founding members who formed the "Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank" is an obvious example. But the membership of this institution will be expanded in the future. History has given a clear conclusion: Over time, those who stick to the Cold War mentality will eventually be abandoned by history. The development of a new international order based on peace, cooperation and win-win for all, will dominate the future of mankind.
The venue of the Eleventh Summit of G20 leaders in Hangzhou, known as "paradise" on earth is a Garden city with beautiful lakes, Jingya pagodas, and hardworking people. Progress and achievements of modern China's economic development have added beauty to its high-rise buildings and infrastructure. The progress is also reflected in local people’s living standards and in the frequency of interaction, Hangzhou has with the world. The selection of Hangzhou city for the G20 summit is a wise decision. Leaders will feel the hospitality of the Chinese people and cozy, quiet atmosphere in Hangzhou. At the G20 summit in Hangzhou, the participating countries will discuss current pressing issues of major concern facing the world such as Climate change, Environmental pollution, Inequitable economic development, Stalled global trade talks, Refugee crises, Wars and Conflicts, Racism, Xenophobia, Threats to globalization, as well as declining Trust in the existing international institutions. Most economists and analysts believe that another ‘Great Depression’ is looming, as economic stimulus have dried up. Global economic growth, especially economic growth in several major Western countries, has remained at low levels. In addition, the shadow of a Trade war, Anti-globalization and Trade protectionism, are threats to international peace and stability. The International community, particularly countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, have deep admiration and respect for China's peaceful rise. Most people on all Continents see China's development and progress providing them opportunities. China's "soft power" appeal is beyond any one country.
The G20 summit in Hangzhou is unlike any ordinary international conferences. The significance of the 11th Session of the Summit held in Hangzhou is that China hopes to see peace, prosperity, and stability as a symbol of "Hangzhou Spirit" to spread throughout the world. Foreign leaders of G20 member countries will have the opportunity to witness the great achievements, China has made in recent years. By strengthening contacts with China, the international community can also benefit from the "China Dream". The people of all countries should work together to pursue sustainable economic growth, culture, harmony, unity and cooperation. This is the most important lesson from the past. It will lead humanity toward universal brotherhood.
