Madiha Parvez is an Assistant Professor at NUST Business School. She is a recipient of Fulbright Scholarship and holds a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship & New Venture Creation, (Saunders College of Business, R.I.T, New York), Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance & Investment (NUST Business School) and Bachelor in Business Administration (NUST Business School).  

Madiha Parvez’s industry experience spans over 6 years with a focus on innovation and new product development.  She has worked for multiple industries including Telecommunications, Oilfield Services, Financial Services and Management Consulting (health-care industry), both in Pakistan and the United States.

Her research interests include Creativity and innovation, Entrepreneurial Motivators, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Social Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management and Urban Economic Development.

Madiha Parvez is currently engaged with teaching Entrepreneurship to the final year B.B.A students and working on establishing Center of Entrepreneurship Research at NUST Business School. ​

 Ms. Parvez’s research interests include Creativity and innovation, Entrepreneurial Motivators, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Social Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management and Urban Economic Development.

Ms. Parvez conducted an independent study titled, “The Billionaire Superstars: Is an Entrepreneur’s young age a contributing factor to opportunity recognition & risk taking?” under the supervision of Dr. dt Ogilvie, (Distinguished Professor of Urban Entrepreneurship and former dean of Saunders College of Business, NY, U.S.A). In her study she compared and analyzed risk taking behaviors of young and old entrepreneurs, assessing the level of their alertness to the business environment in capturing and identifying new opportunities and proactively pursuing them.  

Ms. Parvez’s expertise is in the area of Entrepreneurship & New Venture Creation, Strategy and Innovation Management.  She is currently teaching Entrepreneurship to the final year B.B.A students.

Madiha Parvez has an industry experience of over 6 years. She has worked for multiple sectors like Telecommunications, Oilfield Services, Financial Services and Management Consulting (health-care industry), both in Pakistan and the United States. She is a result-driven professional with strong business analytical skills to assess internal innovation process through market research, identify solutions, develop capabilities and implement technology.

During her stay in the United States, she worked for Saunders Consulting Group, a consulting firm operating out of Saunders College of Business, Rochester, New York.  Ms. Parvez was responsible for streamlining internal innovation process through market studies and market screening for the health care industry. She also worked as a Business Coach in the Simone Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (R.I.T), where she helped define the b​usiness models, business plans and competitive positioning for the start-up ventures.

Ms. Parvez was part of the launch team of easypaisa, (Telenor Pakistan) a revolutionary digital financial services offering aimed to provide financial inclusion to the bottom of the pyramid consumers in Pakistan. Her role centered on strategizing and rolling out multiple innovative products at the intersection of technology and banking with the aim to bring excluded segments in the financial mainstream.

She was also associated with the Telecommunications Industry. She was part of the Logistics team during the launch period of Telenor Pakistan in the year 2004. Prior to this, she worked for Schlumberger Oilfield Services within the Accounts Department. In addition to developing financial statements she was also responsible for the implementation of the ERP Project.
