Scherzade Agha graduated with a gold medal from
Air University in 2014. She started her career with Bank Alfalah Limited right
after graduation. She was part of the prestigious Learning and Development
division, a performance-based division of the bank. Scherzade handled the
learning and development requirements of more than 100 branches, and was also
part of the training team.
In 2015, Scherzade received the Fulbright award
to pursue Masters in Finance from A.B Freeman School of Business. In 2016,
Scherzade graduated from the MS Finance program with a Dean’s Service Award and
a membership in the Beta Gamma Sigma –highest recognition a business student
anywhere in the world can receive in a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate
program accredited by AACSB International.
During her time in US, Scherzade Agha got the
opportunity to work on various projects, the most notable of that was Darwin
Fenner Fund. She was handpicked by the business school faculty to manage the
prestigious 4.5 Million Dollars investment fund along with certain other
students. She also had the honor of representing the fund along with her
colleagues at Texas Investment Portfolio Symposium (TIPS) and they won an award
for generating excellent returns.
At Tulane, she also had the opportunity to be
interviewed by Voice of America and Big Happy Media New Orleans to share her
experience as an international student and as an Oil and Gas Equity Analyst in
the course Freeman Reports. Scherzade also enjoys the honor of being a TEDx
