Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has initiated a project to declare Resource Centers (RCs) of Pakistan in leading technologies and industries, which are the strength of our economy. Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applied Biosciences (ASAB) has been selected for this purpose along with two other institutes from across Pakistan.
These resource centres will participate in projects of capacity building, technology transfer and provide services and products to 56 Islamic Countries under the umbrella of Islamic Development Bank and HEC, Pakistan.
It is a matter of pride and honour for the NUST that one of its schools has been chosen to play a vital role in the progress of the Muslim world. The other two institutes selected for the projects are Dr. Panjwani Center Karachi & Amson Vaccine Islamabad.
