It is to inform that University of
Notre Dame USA has partnered to welcome NUST undergraduate students on
two research programs.
1. American Semester Abroad Program (ASAP)
Program Dates: Spring Semester: Jan 15 - May 13, 2017
The American Semester Abroad Program (ASAP) is a credit-bearing program
that allows international students to take 12-18 credits per semester
at the University. Students will receive an official Notre Dame
transcript upon completion of the program.
For ASAP, student should have finished at least one academic year of study at home institution i.e. NUST.
For ASAP, online application is open for Spring 2017 and the deadline
was October 1, for NUST students, it has been extended to October 16,

2. International Summer Undergraduate Research Experience
Program Dates: 6 to 8 weeks between May 29 – August 13, 2016
The iSURE program provides opportunities for international
undergraduate students to participate in engineering and science
research at the University of Notre Dame. Students will gain valuable
hands-on research experience and exposure to broader areas of science
and engineering research. Students work closely with Notre Dame faculty
and graduate students on a variety of ongoing research projects.
For iSURE, selected students tend to be rising junior or senior at NUST when doing summer research at ND.
iSURE application for summer 2017 is not open yet, as they are still
collecting research projects from professors. It might be open in
December 2016 or January 2017.

For both iSURE and ASAP, students can apply by clicking the
"APPLY/LEARN MORE" button on the program webpages. Then it will take
students to an online portal where they can find what materials are
required to upload and fill out online application.
Please note, ND is offering small scholarships for iSURE ($500), but so far they do not have any scholarship for ASAP.
It is requested to please spread programs among NUST UG students.
