Tariq has done M.S (Mechanical Engineering) from PNEC-NUST and B.E (Automotive Engineering) from NED University of Engineering and Technology. He had started his career as a technical trainer in Automobile department in AMANTECH. He has qualified the City & Guilds(UK) 3905-2 qualification with distinction. His qualification provides him an edge regarding trade knowledge and enables to him to display good skills in his field.

Tariq has a remarkable academic record, he was awarded Gold medal from NED University for securing 1st position in B.E (Automotive Engineering) in 2012 and President Gold medal from NUST for securing 1st position in M.S (Mechanical Engineering) in 2015. He has expertise in Automotive manufacturing especially in the area of Mold designing and Mold Analysis. He has excellent command on designing and analysis software including ANSYS, ABAQUS, COMSOL, Solid works, and Unigraphics.
He has also worked in the field of Non-destructive testing throughout his master’s study, and have very good understanding with the structural health monitoring of Aerospace structures.

Tariq has joined NUST in July 2016 as a lecture in Mechanical Department.
