Dr Sohaib Zia Khan received B.Eng degree (2001) in mechanical engineering from NED University, Pakistan, MPhil degree (2006) in precision engineer and PhD degree (2010) for work on generation of nanoparticles & CW laser ablation from The University of Manchester, UK. Currently, he is an assistant professor at PNEC, National University of Sciences & Technology, Pakistan.

In addition, he is serving as final year project (FYP) coordinator for the ES faculty and senior broad member of the ‘student representative council’ (SRC).​
