Profile
Nusrat Husain is serving as Assistant Professor at PNEC
for the last 12 years. He possesses professional experience of about 5
years in various industries. He
has a passion for learning and teaching. He likes to explore new ideas, technologies and
concepts. In
the Department of Electronics & Power Engineering, Mr. Nusrat Husain has
been responsible for organising industrial visits, internships, job drives for
the students and assist them in getting foreign scholarships for further higher
studies. He has also played a great role in college self-assessment programmes,
PEC accreditation visits, curriculum development, organisation of IEEE IC4 Conferences
and establishment of MoUs between PNEC-NUST and Chinese Universities. Beyond
his teaching and services, he is also involved in research and development
activities.His dedication to teaching, services, and research
places him among the very best teacher at this institute.
Research Engaged mainly in research areas of Electrical Power Systems, HVDC Transmission Systems, Modular Multi-Level Converters (MMCs), Wind and Solar Renewable Energies.
