​Engr. Ashraf Yahya Joined Engg. Academics 12 years back. Earlier he worked in Heavy industry as Assistant Manager/ Sr Elecrical Engr for seven years, where he got ample exposure to operation & Maintenance of High Power electronics drives and Electrical Machines. Engr. Ashraf has taught numerous courses related to Power Engineering and Power Electronics. By virtue of his practical experience, he is able to correlate theory contents with practical applications.
He is also a certified lead auditor in Quality Management systems (QMS) and has been performing duties of Quality Management Representative (QMR) for PNEC for a couple of years. He also holds the position of Asst. HoD for EE and has been actively involved in PEC accreditation processes and a Member of Self Assessment Teams for Electrical/Electronic Engg. Programs. He also appeared from PNEC before NUST selection Board for award of overall University Best teacher-2013
