NUST Girls Hostel
Due to limited occupancy available at PNEC, hostel accommodation is allocated to the students on first come first served basis.
NUST Boys Hostel comprises of a purpose built two storey building having 80 rooms and a separate annexe consisting of 16 rooms within campus premises. The hostel facility has been designed and constructed to ensure a secure, comfortable and pleasant stay and to create an environment which is conducive to learning. Facilities available in the hostel include fully furnished rooms, high speed 24 hours internet, dining hall inside the hostel, TV lounge, gymnasium, sports facilities, and laundry services through washer man.
Allotment of rooms may not necessarily be of one’s choice. It is at the sole discretion of the administration, which may allot the rooms either on “first come first served” basis or any other basis i.e. seniority etc. Allotment is done on a double/triple occupancy basis and in dormitories. A limited number of single rooms are also available for allotment to senior students. All charges/expenses prescribed in the application from or any other documents are subject to change without notice. At start of programme, rent will be charged from the date the hostel rooms are made available for occupancy. While at the end of programme, charges shall be apportioned on the basis of actual day of occupancy.
A beautiful triple storey hostel called Bachelor Officers Quarters (BOQs) is available with the capacity of 106 furnished rooms for service students. Another grand building named Gunroom Mess containing dining hall, guest rooms, billiard rooms, washerman shop, barber shop etc is also located near BOQs. NUST Boys Hostel and NUST Annexe is also available for male civilian students. NUST Boys Hostel is a double storey building and is consists of single , double rooms and a Dinning Hall. NUST Annexe comprising 8 dormitories with a capacity to accommodate 32 students. In addition, there is NUST Girls Hostel comprising 7 rooms where 21 female students can be accommodated. The hostel accommodation is available to all service student officers and for limited number of civilian students on first come basis.
Two well-maintained and well-stocked cafeterias provide hygienic food, throughout the day.
A canteen exists near the BOQs, which remains open till 2300 hrs.
MEDICAL FACILITIES at PNEC
Following medical facilities are available in the college:
Dispensary. To meet emergencies and for first aid treatment, the college has a dispensary (Sick Bay) with permanently posted medical officer and necessary para-medical staff. For regular medical treatment, students are to visit PNS RAHAT/any other Hospital on payment by the students.
Ambulance. An Ambulance is always available to deal with emergencies.
First Aid Boxes. First Aid Boxes are also placed various locations in the college to provide immediately medical attention.
All the entrances to the campus are highly secure, with guards and personnel responsible for strict identity check and an electrically charged fence around the premises. In addition to these highly effective campus security arrangements, all hostels have protective boundary walls, security personnel and dedicated staff at each block.
Out living students are provided transport facility at specified routes on payment, subject to availability of seats. Door services are not provided. Students are picked from pick points only. Students availing transport facility are required to pay prescribed transport charges. The transport routes are as under:
