Compressed Sensing (CS) is an innovative field allowing sampling at sub Nyquist level and reconstructing the signal with l1-minimization using linear programing or matching pursuit algorithms. It has tremendous potential for a variety of engineering applications. In this context, Faisal Akram is organizing a workshop to introduce the novel technique with emphasis on its applications.
The primary objectives of this workshop are to:
- Introduce Compressed Sensing and make sense of how it happens.
- Explaination of salient aspect of Compressed Sensing.
- Description of a few of its applications.
