​Asim D. Bakhshi completed his BE Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology in 1996 followed by MS Computer Engineering from in 2003 from Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering CASE-UET Taxila, Islamabad, Pakistan. He received his PhD Computer Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan in 2012. He is an active researcher and has numerous publications in the fields of signal and image processing, physiological modelling and artificial intelligence.
