Dr. Hammad Afzal is working at National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan as an Assistant Professor since May, 2010. He has previously done his PhD, working under the supervision of Dr. Goran Nenadic and Dr. Robert Stevens, based in School of Computer Science, University of Manchester UK.

Dr. Hammad Afzal has also worked as a Research Fellow at Digital Enterprize Research Institute (DERI), National University of Ireland, where he was working with Dr. Paul Buitelaar, as part of the Unit of Natural Language Processing . (Worked after PhD).  

He is currently involved in a teaching and a number of UG and PG projects, mainly in the fields of Natural Language Processing, Semantic Web, Linked Data and Smart Phone Applications (UG)
