Dr. Kamran Akhtar is currently the Head of Department/Assoc. Prof. at Department of Geotechnical Engineering at Military College of Engineering, NUST Campus at Risalpur, Pakistan. He completed his BE (Civil Engg) degree from Military College of Engg (MCE) Risalpur Cantt in 1994 with honours. He holds MS Civil Engineering and a Ph.D. Degree (with Geotechnical Engg as specialization) from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. Dr. Kamran has more than 25 years of work & education experience in the field of Civil Engineering, especially in Geotechnical engineering. Dr. Kamran has over 20 international/national research publications to his credit.
