Syed Zamir Ul Hassan is currently the Asst. Prof. at Department of Structural  Engineering at Military College of Engineering, NUST Campus at Risalpur, Pakistan. He completed his BE (Civil Engg) degree from Military College of Engg (MCE) Risalpur Cantt in 1994 with in first division.He holds MS Structural Engineering from NUSTU Pakistan. Engr. Zamir has more than 22 years of work & education experience in the field of Civil Engineering.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1.      2016- To date Assistant Professor at MCE, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan, Teaching Structural Analysis.

2.       2013-2016  Deputy Director technical for a housing project. A complete colony was developed along with external services, community area and play lands etc. It included Const of 3000 apartments, roads, footpaths, sewerage including Sewrage Disposal System, water supply incl UGWT and TWs, street lts, elec supply, two independent feeders from LESCO and a lake plus horticulture work.

3.      2010-2013 Project manager for a project worth Rs 10,000 M for underground storage site. It included Geotechnical work of excavation, different mechanical support system, shotcreting,  and civil works involving huge concreting.

4.      2009-2010 MS Structural Engineering NUST Islamabad

5.      Uplifting of a swimming pool (2008)

6.      Resident Engineer for a project worth 716 M for construction of 117 seismic proof buildings spread over 25 locations in Kashmir after the historic earthquake of 2005 in Kashmir(2006-2007)

7.       Deputy project manager for Layari Expressway Karachi a mega project of reinforced earth embankment, box girder bridges , culverts and roads (2005-2006)

8.      Rehabilitation of buildings and roads in Liberia under the blue flag of UN (2004-2005)

9.      Construction of tracks, water purification and supply in rural area (2002-2004)

10.  Joined teaching faculty in Military College of Engineering Risalpur NUST. Offered a number of courses on Bridge Classification, Basic Dml. Assault brs, equipment brs etc (2000-2002)
