EMENENT STOOD FIRST @ PRESENT AROUND THE WORLD (PATW). PATW is the IET's presentation competition, held every year for students, recent graduates, apprentices and young professionals aged 18 to 26.It is an international competition in which students present innovative presentations related to the latest technologies in front of a panel of experienced judges. IET UET CHAPTER is bestowed with an honor of hosting the local leg of this competition, the winner of which will compete in the international competition to be held in Sri Lanka. The IET Present around the World Competition is an exquisite opportunity for participants to compete according to IET UK protocols by unsheathing their potential in the form of presentations which can be about Engineering and Technology and win exciting prizes.
Competitors will be asked to give a presentation for 10 minutes on a subject related to engineering or any technology, and to answer questions for a further five minutes. They can even use their final year project presentation, a presentation from graduate scheme or any presentation that meets out requirements. This year event was held at KICS Seminar Hall, UET Lahore on 30th March 2013. NS Salman Khan of DE-31 from DEE won the first prize of Rs. 12000/- for his outstanding presentation on "EEG Controlled Wheelchair" from NUST College of EME.
