Usman Ali received his B.E., M.S. and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (E&ME), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, in 2005, 2007and 2012 respectively. He is assistant professor at Department of Electrical Engineering, College of E&ME, NUST. His research focuses on design and development of embedded systems (SoC) for computer vision, communication and biomedical algorithms. The research area also includes renewable and sustainable energy systems.​
