College of EME organized GO Green Festival from 3-5 May, 2013.
1. The World we all share is given to us in trust. Every choice we make regarding the earth, air, and water around us should be made with the objective of preserving it for all generations to come. Taking a step towards fulfilling this responsibility, this year, NUST College of EME will be hosting the first ever Go Green Festival. The festival is a part of the grand initiative of the Commandant, College of E&ME, Engr Obaid Bin Zakria, HI(M) given the name of Go Green Campaign, which revolves around publicizing the environmental issues faced by the people of Earth and coming up with radical ideas to stop them.
2. NUST College of EME is holding the Go Green Festival, a chance share the ideas and solutions to the everyday environmental problems. The event centers around, “National Green Energy Symposium and Social Events”. These promise not just an opportunity to achieve a healthier and greener environment, but also a good time for anybody who graces the event with his supporting presence.

3. It is a conference with a mission to educate the masses about the concept of the Greener Planet. It will be attended by environmentalists, scientists, biologists and field specialists from all over Pakistan; who will also deliver awareness oriented lectures and presentations about a variety of topics. It will be a great learning experience for students from various prestigious institutes of the country. The Go Green Symposium was held on 3rd May 2013 in College of EME NUST Rawalpindi with key and well known Guest Speakers from academics & Industry.
4. Keeping with theme of environment protection and pollution preventions, the festival will also play host a multitude of following fun-filled social events for all the attendees and participants. The social events will be held on 3-5 May 2013.
