Venue
NUST College of EME, Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi

College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (NUST) organized its 13th National Computer Project Exhibition and Competition. COMPPEC has developed so exponentially in the past 12 years that it has excelled and leveled up to become the most successful, educational and interestingly exuberant event leaving all of its competitors behind grasping at straws to be as good and Breathtaking. Events at COMPPEC make COMPPEC one of the best Computers and Technological event held in Pakistan.

1.       Electro Mechanical Systems:

Electromechanical systems engineering focused on all the devices which make electrical and mechanical systems work together. People in this field often work for the automotive, power production or airline industries.

Electro Mechanical Systems has following subcategories:

1.  Robotics

2.  MEMS

3.  UAVs

4.  Automation

2. Information Systems:

Information system is the collection of technical and human resources that provide the storage, computing, distribution, and communication for the information required by all or some part of an enterprise.

Information Systems has four subcategories:

1.  Software Utility

2.  Software Application

3.  Workflow Automation

4.  Gaming

3. Communication Systems:

A System that transfers data between person and equipment. The system usually consists of a collection of individual communication networks, transmission systems, relay stations, tributary stations and terminal equipment capable of interconnection and interoperation so as to form an integrated whole.

Communication system has following subcategories:

1.  Telecommunication

2.  Network Centric Systems

3.  Mobile & Ad Hoc Networks

4.  SDR

4. Digital Systems:

A digital system is a technology that uses discrete, discontinuous representations of information or works in a discontinuous manner. This is contrasted with continuous or analogue systems which behave in a continuous manner, or represent information using a continuous function.

Digital system has following subcategories:

1.  Image Processing/Machine Vision

2.  Digital Signal Processing

3.  Multimedia Processing

4.  Digital Systems Design (FPGA)
