Dr. Syed Irteza Ali Khan is an associate professor at the department of Avionics Engineering, College of Aeronautical Engineering (CAE), National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) Pakistan. He completed his undergraduate studies from CAE, NUST, in 1996, in the specialty of avionics engineering. He holds Masters and PhD degrees (2013) from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, in the area of computer vision applications for pattern recognition. His industrial experience includes five years of industrial experience in the maintenance management of on-board avionics systems; and design, implementation, and testing of microcontroller based digital systems. Dr. Irteza has also a one-year experience on design and testing machine vision algorithms for fault diagnostics of mechanical parts through image processing. Since November, 2013 he has been a faculty member at CAE, NUST.
