Engr Muhammad Saqib is an instructor of Avionics (Microwave) at Department of AvionicsEngineering, College of Aeronautical Engineering (CAE) National University of Sciences& Technology (NUST) Pakistan. He completed his undergraduate studies from CAE Risalpur in 2002, in the specialty of Avionics engineering. He holds a Master degree in Avionics in Microwave specialty from College of Aeronautical Engineering, NUST. His industrial experience includes 14 years of managing Depot level, Organisational-level and Intermediate-level maintenance of combat aircraft at various operational PAF Bases. Since 2016, he has been involved with Microwave research and primary focus has been on design of transmitter path for Transmit Receive Module of Active Electronically Scanned Array Radar Transmitter.

 Some of his recent research outcomes include:-

  • Design of Modelithics based Higher power amplifiers for Transmit Receive Module,
  • Design of MMIC based X band High power Transmit path for Transmit Receive Module,
  • Design of MMIC based Transmit Receive RF Switch for Transmit Receive Module,
  • Power budging and design of S band high power amplifier.  

Some of his on-going projects include:-

  • Design and fabrication of complete transmitter module for S band Radar.
  • mmWaveradar based altimeter and distance measurement applications.


His Research Intersests include: Avionics / AESA / Solid State Transmitters, Aircraft and Ground Communication and Navigation, Microwave systems design
