Dr. Sana Ajmal is working as Assistant Professor at Research Center for Modeling and Simulation, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, since Dec 2016. She received her Bachelors degree in Electrical (Telecom) Engineering from NUST, Pakistan in 2007 and PhD from Centre for Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE), affiliated with UET Taxila. The current research interests of Dr. Sana Ajmal are associated with:

•    Wireless Communication
•    Body Area Networks
•    Sensor Networks
•    Internet of Things
•    Medium Access Control and interference issues in wireless networks

​PhD. Thesis:

Transmission Capacity for Ad Hoc Networks Under an Intelligent Hybrid Spread Spectrum Scheduling (IHSS).    Ad hoc networks were analyzed under use of a proposed IHSS MAC scheme using stochastic geometry and network informatics concepts.

MSc. Project:

Analyzing the impact of Mobility on Transmission Capacity and Outage Probability of MANETs    Ad hoc networks were analyzed, with mobile nodes, using stochastic geometry and network informatics concepts.

MSc. Project:   

Doppler Estimation in Topic: Doppler Estimation in a vehicle to vehicle communication channel    How to mathematically analyze the relative vehicular velocity using Doppler spread of the signal.
