​Dr. Adeel Javed is working at the US Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCASE) as an assistant professor since December 2016. He completed his BE aerospace in 2005 at CAE NUST, Pakistan and received his MSc in aerospace propulsion from Cranfield University, UK in 2007. In 2014, he completed his PhD in gas turbine engineering and small-scale turbomachinery design from the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Netherlands. For two years, Dr. Javed has worked for Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe (MTEE), Netherlands as an R&D engineer for turbocharger performance. Recently, he has returned from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, where he worked for two years as a postdoctoral researcher on oil-free small-scale turbocompressors for a heat pump application. Dr. Javed has research interests in gas turbine design and performance, radial turbomachinery design, fluid mechanics, heat transfer mechanisms, uncertainty quantification and robust design, and experimentation.
