Instructions for Filling Online Application Form
  1. On visiting for filling the application form, the candidates will be allotted a password to access the application form after providing their valid e-mail addresses. 
  2. A recent photograph of candidate is required to be uploaded. 
  3. If both percentage and CGPA are mentioned on Bachelors/Masters Degree/MPhil Transcript, then only CGPA will be entered. 
  4. Eligibility criteria of the programme, for which applying, must be consulted before selecting the preferences. Candidates will not be considered for the programmes for which they are not eligible. 
  5. Candidates can deposit the fee through online deposit, after taking print of Challan form amounting to Rs. 2000/-, in any branch of HBL. 
  6. Candidate will have to upload scanned copies of his Research Proposal with the application form. List of HEC approved supervisors is available on NUST Website
  7. Photocopies copies of following academic documents be forwarded Regn. Branch (PhD Section), HQ NUST, Sector H-12, Islamabad, within 10 days on receipt of confirmation of admission application fee through candidate’s email account. Candidates should mention their NUST Roll No on each document. Details of documents are as under. 
    • Copy of Matric/equivalent certificate
    • Copy of Intermediate/equivalent certificate.
    • Copy of Undergraduate degree(s) along with transcript showing the exact duration and recognition certificate obtained from PEC/HEC, as applicable to the programme for which application is submitted.
    • Copy of Postgraduate degree(s) along with transcripts showing the exact duration and recognition certificate obtained from PEC/HEC.
    • Copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
    • Copy of Challan form duly paid in any branch of HBL.
    • Note: Candidates are advised to avoid misrepresentation of facts which may lead to cancellation of their candidatures at any stage.
  8. Please remember your Roll No for all future references. 
  9. Candidates willing to undertake research related ​​​to National Needs will be given due preference.
